Other things we did at art camp include: nature mandalas, model magic sculptures (which we then painted), Flubber, rain sticks, and "stained glass" sharpie colored wax paper, exploding paint bags, and ice paint!

Action Art Day! For Action art day, the students put their initial on the foam board with painter's tape. Then we did 6 different stations to apply paint to the foam board. We used a paintbrush attached to a drill, we did buddy paint (paint bags with holes attached to a ruler, pulled between two people), and we also did some printing with cds, texture rollers, and balloons. Then next time, we squirted paint out of squirt guns (not gun shaped), shot paint covered marshmallows with slingshots, and printed with bubble wrap, plastic dinosaurs, and cookie cutters. Whoa- by the end of the day I had some SERIOUS cleaning to do :) The canvases looked so amazing I couldn't stop taking pictures of them! The next day, we removed the painter's tape, and it looked like this... <3 <3 <3
